SHOOT HOOPS!
We look forward to welcoming you to the EuroGames 2024 basketball tournament in Vienna! There will be competitive and recreational tournaments. Please note that we may combine certain levels if we do not receive enough registrations to run separate tournaments.
Games will be played according to the rules of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) with some exceptions for playing time, free throws, as well as team and personal fouls. The games consist of two halves of 10 minutes each.
A team consists of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 12 players. We recommend a minimum of 7 players per team. Female* teams play with size 6 balls, male* teams with size 7.
You can register for the tournament as part of a team or as an individual. Please note that the registration fee is per person. If a particularly large number of teams register, final matches may be scheduled for Saturday morning. In this case, we will provide further information four weeks prior to the event.

REGISTRATION
We recommend that the team captains register first and create the team name. Then the team members can be invited to the team.
If you are a team captain and an athlete too you do not have to register as an athlete for the team competition cause you can do that already as team captain.
