The floorball tournament at EuroGames Vienna 2024 is organised in cooperation with the LGBTIQ+ sports club Lotosové kvety from Bratislava. Our floorball organising team already has a lot of practice and passion thanks to many years of running international tournaments at home. We play sports with PRIDE and LOVE!
The tournament will take place at the sports hall Rundhalle Alt Erlaa. This location is famous for its green architecture, creative design and a real sense of community. Around ten kilometers from the historic old center of Vienna the venue is easily reachable by subway and in daytime there is a train every 5 minutes.
The tournament will be held in one level as an all gender tournament: male-identified, female-identified, nonbinary. Gender mixed teams are very much welcomed.
The game will be played with 4 or 5 field players. As most LGBTIQ+ floorball teams play without a goalie, it is more likely to be played without the goalkeeper and thus with small goals. However, the issue of goalkeepers can still be consensually adapted to the preferences of the teams.
Each team consists of at least 4 or 5 participants, but the recommended team size is 6 to 8 (or 7 to 10) players. It is possible to register for EuroGames Vienna 2024 floorball tournament as a team or without one. Feel free to register individually if you don’t have a whole team. Individually registered players will be assigned to other teams after mutual agreement.
In case of too few registrations we reserve the right to shorten the tournament to one day at Friday 19.07.2024.

REGISTRATION
We recommend that the team captains register first and create the team name. Then the team members can be invited to the team.
If you are a team captain and an athlete too you do not have to register as an athlete for the team competition cause you can do that already as team captain.
