IGLFA (International Gay & Lesbian Footabll Association) is joining EuroGames Vienna 2024 as an official tournament partner for football. There will be competitive (11 vs 11) and recreational (7 vs 7) tournaments for male* identified, female* identified, and non-binary participants.
The football tournament offers games for teams of female* identified players, male* identified players, non-binary players, and mixed-gender teams. The competitive level tournament for male* identified players is an 11-a-side game. The recreational matches are played as a 7-a-side game. Female* identified teams, non-binary teams, and mixed-gender teams will play 7-a-side games. All these teams play at a recreational level.
Competitive matches consist of 2 periods of 25 minutes each with a halftime break; recreational matches consist of 2 periods of 20 minutes each with a halftime break.
In the 7 vs. 7 mixed tournament, a maximum of 3 male* identified players are allowed on the field at any given time (excluding the goalkeeper).
It is possible to register for the tournament as a team or as an individual player. When registering as a single player, please indicate whether you are a field player or a goalkeeper. Please keep in mind that the registration fee is per person.

REGISTRATION
We recommend that the team captains register first and create the team name. Then the team members can be invited to the team.
If you are a team captain and an athlete too you do not have to register as an athlete for the team competition cause you can do that already as team captain.
