KEEP SWIMMING!
Get ready to dive into the swimming tournament at Stadthallenbad, where you’ll discover a 50-metre pool with eight lanes and an additional pool for warming up. The tournament will be held according to the AQUA Masters Rules and the competition rules of the Austrian Swimming Federation. In a sport that has traditionally adhered to a strict gender binary, we are proud to announce that we will be introducing a third gender category. All gender identities (male, female, open) are starting in the same events.
In the Swimming competition, you’ll have the chance to compete in various disciplines, including:
- Freestyle: 50, 100, 200, 400, 8001), and 1.5001) metres
- Breaststroke: 50, 100, and 200 metres
- Backstroke: 50, 100, and 200 metres
- Butterfly: 50, 100, and 200 metres
- Individual medley: 200, and 400 metres
1) Due to the high number of registrants, it is not possible to swim 800 and 1.500 m freestyle. We ask all swimmers to choose one event, either 800 freestyle or 1.500 freestyle.
If you’re interested in competing as part of a team, you can also participate in relay events. These include:
- Freestyle relay: 4×50, 4×100, and 4×200 metres
- Medley relay: 4×50, 4×100 metres
Relay teams have to be submitted until registration deadline but can be changed for important reasons until the day of the competition (1 hour before the session starts).
Participants without an appropriate individual licence or a permit for international entries are only allowed so start in the supporting programme which include separate heats for 100 breaststroke, 100 freestyle, 50 butterfly, 50 backstroke, 50 breaststroke, 50 freestyle.

There is no restaurant in the pool, but we have set up a small buffet where you can buy sandwiches, cakes and drinks. Payment is only possible by card, no cash payment.
Luan from the Awareness Team will be on site for swimming from 8 am to approx. 10 am on both Friday and Saturday and will be available to answer questions of any kind. One of Luan’s identification features is a small AwA* card with the inscription “Awareness”. Luan’s phone number is +436763036149.
