We are proud to have the AFC Vienna Vikings, a successful and renowned Austrian club, as the organisers of the EuroGames Vienna 2024 Flag football competition.
Flag football is a fast-paced version of American football where, instead of tackling players to the ground, the defensive team must pull a flag from the ball carrier. So, contact is limited between players.
The tournament spans two days and includes both recreational and competitive levels, open to male*/mixed and female* identified teams. The 5 vs 5 tournament will follow IFAF rules, with the halftime duration adjusted based on the number of participating teams. We reserve the right to merge recreational and competitive competitions depending on number of participants.
You can register for the tournament as a team or individually. Teams are required to bring their own flags, jerseys, and footballs as well as basic ref-equipment to the tournament.
