Padel

SERVE, SMASH AND SCORE!

Padel is currently the fastest-growing sport worldwide, and we are delighted to offer Padel as a fully-fledged sport for the first time at the EuroGames in Vienna!

Padel originated in Mexico and has gained popularity since the 1970s, particularly in Spain and Portugal, even surpassing tennis as one of the most popular sports. Padel combines elements from tennis and squash and is exclusively played in doubles, unlike many other sports. You can participate in two categories.

The court measures 20×10 metres, slightly smaller than a tennis court, and is enclosed by glass walls and lattice elements. The glass walls can be integrated into the game, adding variety and excitement. Please note that playing with the glass walls may increase the excitement and, in some cases, create a higher level of engagement.

Good to know:
Balls will be provided by the organisers and rackets can be rented directly at the venue for 3€ per day. No preliminary booking is possible. The venue guaranties 35 rackets so we recommend to bring your own if feasable.
